First freshening: 03/04/2017 TWINS - - buck/doe (they were beautiful too)
unassisted delivery - -Her due date was extremely miscalculated. She was in with her fellow herd mates when she delivered.
We feel that the other ladies shunned and stomped the newborn kids.
However, we weren't there to see what happened; (we can only speculate) in any event, sadly both babies were found dead.
We machine milked Shady. . . she has wonderful sweet rich milk. Because of our work schedule, she was milked once a day.
She also assisted the other does with their kids by nursing them! We look forward to a future freshening for this girl.
She surely has the genetics behind her, and should be a wonderful mother.

buckling was large and abnormal presentation. . . needed to assist with delivery. . . quick recovery.
Congratulations to Karen from Pelican Acres for giving this gorgeous boy a new home, as a herd sire.
